5 Reasons the Collective Program is Different than A Gym Membership

Workouts

The Collective program isn’t your average membership program, and definitely isn’t your average gym membership. I know when it comes to getting healthy, women want the fastest route. You want to get from point A to point B in the easiest, most painless way possible..but that doesn’t exist. Anything worth while in life does not come easy, and that also goes for becoming the healthiest, best version of yourself. But there are ways to waste less time, and to truly taken the straightest route to your goals, while it might not be easy. I want to explain deeper what the benefits of the Collective program are, and how it is different from a regular gym membership!

The Collective Program vs. Average Gym Membership

1. At a gym you access to the space – in the Collective you get specific workouts and a plan to follow.

If you walk into a gym and sign up for a membership, all you are getting is access to the building. You have to workout on their time, with their rules, and you just pay to walk in the door. This also means you still have to figure out what to do when you get to the gym, and how to do it correctly to reach your goals and not get hurt.

With the Collective – you are getting a plan and specific workouts. These workouts are designed to get you in and out in 20-30 minutes while helping you reach your goals. You don’t have to walk around aimlessly anymore, not to mention it is SO EASY to convince yourself not to go to the gym if you don’t know what to do when you get there. The Collective takes all that guessing out and all you have to do is press play.

2. The Collective offers more than workouts, but everything to live healthy.

The Collective not only offers workouts for you each week, but there is so much more! Health is much more than just moving your body. You have to feed it well, talk to it with love and keep stress levels low. I know it is a lot to deal with on top of everything else life throws at you, but if you don’t take care of yourself now, someday you won’t be here to do it!

A gym membership, again, only offers you access to their building and equipment. And without a plan, you will fail. They teach you nothing about nutrition or how to really take care of your body during this transition and learning experience.

3. The Collective allows you to workout at home and skip the commute.

A major reason people don’t go to the gym is because they “don’t have time” or “it’s a hassle.” So, the Collective takes all that out. You don’t have to worry about commute time or making extra time for the gym. With the Collective, all you have to do is press play. You need minimum space and equipment at home, and you don’t even have to wear pants! Everyone can find 20-30 minutes in their day to sweat.

4. A gym membership doesn’t guarantee a community.

If you join a gym you might meet people and make friends, but support in your journey isn’t guaranteed. If you join a gym that includes classes, you might get that support if you regularly go to the same group class, but again, it isn’t guaranteed. With the Collective you are able to meet women who are on the same journey as you, to ensure you aren’t alone. You get accountability from others cheering you on and routing for you – because doing the same program connects you together!

5. A gym is just equipment to use, the Collective is access to a virtual personal trainer.

Within the Collective is workout videos – videos that I DO WITH YOU so you don’t have to motivate yourself through it yourself. I am there with you every step of the way just like an in person personal trainer would be. I want the experience you have to be personal and intimate with you, even though it is just a video on your screen. Because trust me, if I could just go to everyones home and train them, I would. But, Santa ain’t real and he won’t let me borrow his sleigh.

These are all the main reasons the Collective program is different from a gym membership. A lot of women have asked me what is so special about my program, so…

My program is ME, in video and electronic form. It is the tough love you need to succeed and to push towards your goals, but also the information broken down so it is easy to understand on a day to day basis. I could have created another program with the workout typed out and a clip to each movement, but that wasn’t personal enough for me. I want the experience of the Collective to be like no other. I want you to feel like I am there with you – pushing you and encouraging you and giving you everything you need to succeed. Because like I said, if I could personally one on one help everyone, I would…but there are not enough hours in the day. So, this is the next best option.

I wanted this experience to feel like you knew me, and like I was in your living room truly working out with you and encouraging you. So many women fall short of their goals because they don’t have access to someone to hold their hand at a gym, so I wanted to bring that into your home. Not to mention, health is more than just how fast you can lose 20lbs and how much you can restrict your food. It’s about learning how it all works together, how to create a routine that fits in your schedule, without taking over your life. You have to learn how to eat for your goals and make it sustainable, and you have to move your body in a way that doesn’t take up half your day, or you would never do it.

That is why I created the Collective. So the women at home who don’t have access to a gym or a “tribe” could belong somewhere, too.
